line of sunglasses.
Jordan is also an industry leading blogger (at
scimark.blogspot.com) and manages a LinkedIn professionals’
network for DR executives that has more than
1,800 members. Prior to SciMark, Jordan served five years as vice president of marketing for IdeaVillage
Products Corp. In that role, he helped grow the company from $50 million
in sales to more than $150 million in sales (read

SciMark stands for
Scientific
Marketing.
The term “scientific marketing” is a variation of a term coined in the
1920s by the founding father of direct marketing, Claude Hopkins. In his
booklets "My Life In Advertising" and “Scientific Advertising,” Hopkins
laid out 16 proven
laws of advertising based on the realization that: "Every ad is
surrounded by countless appeals. Every effort involves much expense. The
man who wins out and survives does so only because of superior science
and strategy." This is SciMark's
guiding principle.
